For Thanksgiving, we headed east to my Grandparent’s home in the Central Valley. It’s near a small town but the neighbors are few and the sound is quiet. It’s the first time I’ve been around much Fall foliage since Fall started. There are a few trees in the bay that are losing leaves and turning colors, but since the seasons changed so quickly most of them are just dropping from the tree while still green.

I wore a black and white outfit for the occasion and although everyone thought I was crazy for the pants, I’m happy to report they stayed clean throughout the day. I picked them up from Lou & Grey awhile back on clearance. I wasn’t sure about the splatters but they’ve grown on me quite a bit. I get questions about them all the time, but the most popular is still, “What is on your pants?”. They’re a slouchy skinny fit which has become one of my favorite (and forgiving, ha!) cuts to wear, I also have them in cream and light washed denim.

I know I’ve mentioned this bag quite a few times, but it’s my favorite right now. I am not one to collect a lot of bags and typically carry the same one often, especially when I like the size and look of it. You can shop this black and white Thanksgiving outfit via the links above or below.

Thanks, Kari! Sometimes I feel like it’s too contrasty for me, but I really like these pants. 🙂
