I also found quite a divide in aesthetic as some hotels were very traditional or Parisian, and others were more modern and updated. Last week was one full of sunshine and learning, spent at Alt Summit in Palm Springs, California. After the conference, my friend Sally and I decided to stay at V Palm Springs for a little extra R&R. We spent the day Friday hiking in the Mecca Hills area, and enjoying a delicious dinner at Workshop. After checking out on Saturday we grabbed some goodies to bring home with us from the Art Museum of Architecture and Design (heaven!).
