If you love it so much you’d like to stay, I highly recommend the Ritz-Carlton. If you’re feeling festive you could head over to Arata’s Pumpkin Farm to enjoy the hay maze and other fall activities, or if you can’t make it out right now you could always try to catch the Annual Pumpkin Festival next year.

Ah, thanks for all of the suggestions! I hope to visit soon– maybe in 2015 🙂

This looks amazing. Great photos!! oxox, Amanda

I have never been to this gorgeous place but after seeing your pictures I want to book my trip now! LOL thank you!

Those saves are crazy! This is awesome!

I guess it is not “technically” Half Moon Bay, but I lump it in…. I LOVE La Costanera which has amazing Peruvian food – but beyond that it is absolutely the best place to watch the sunset! I also like Sam’s Chowder House.

We’ll have to check those out! I keep hearing about Sam’s Chowder House too but I’m not a big chowder fan, so… Lol. 🙂

I just sent this to my manfriend. NO LIE. Thank you! (P.S. The birthday brunch comment about the Ritz got me all intrigued- now I feel like I want to try that too!)

You should! Be forewarned the portions are not as large as they sound. 🙂

I have never been before but it looks like a beautiful place to visit!

This looks stunning! I would love to go. But that wave photo is intense!

Isn’t it?! Mavericks can be crazy.

I love Half Moon Bay! I haven’t been in so very long though. The City by the Bay is keeping me a tad too busy!

Those waves were huge!! Did they not wipe out all those boats?! Also, I’ve always wanted to ride horses across the beach! If I’m ever there, I’ll be sure your list with me!

I’ve never been but it looks amazing! Once again your photos transport us straight there!

Looks so beautiful and sounds like the place to visit.

I’ve never been to half moon bay, it’s beautiful!

Whoa that wave is huge!! So beautiful 🙂

Oh wow beautiful pics!

I really want to take up to Half Moon Bay and go to the pumpkin patch. I heard it’s nuts on the weekends so maybe I should go during the week. I saw your post about it and it looks so festive!

You should go! It’s a ton of fun. I’m so glad they brought the hay maze back this year. One year it even had a trap door in it.

I love half moon bay!! i haven’t been in almost a decade. the last time i went was right after college with an ex boyfriend. time to make new and better memories with the husband i think!

I was JUST talking to my friend about The Ritz at Half Moon Bay this afternoon. She wants to go there for her birthday brunch (which is on Saturday). I told her to go for it, it’s pretty gorgeous out there.

Tell her to make reservations, weekend brunch is packed!

These are some great pictures!

Wow! That looks like a beautiful place to visit! I love pasta and so I love your restaurant rec’s too! That wave photo is incredible!

I’ve veneer been to Half Moon Bay but I’d heard about Pasta Moon from many friends! They said the pasta is the BEST they’ve ever tastes <3

LOVE half moon bay. I wanna go back. I always forget about it, and it’s so close.

I love that part of CA. Gorgeous! Lot’s to do and see!

What a gorgeous looking place. The pictures of the beach underneath the cliffs and the green grass actually reminds me of some places I’ve seen within Ireland.

Hi! I’ve only been to Half Moon Bay once and we ate on the water at Sam’s. Although it’s busy, it was really a nice experience and had good food. 🙂
