Monthly Musings
I don’t normally think of Fall as a great time to travel. One of the reasons is because I have school-age children and there are less early Fall breaks. The more I think about it and research, the more beautiful fall inspiration I come across. I would absolutely love to visit a place like New England in the Fall. The weather is cool and crisp, perfect for sweaters. The colors are vivid and bright, unlike fall in California. Here in California we don’t get a lot of color until December and by then the leaves are already mostly gone from the trees.
Places like Maine, Germany, Alaska, and others like Oregon and Canada make me swoon as fall travel inspiration. Even NYC has beautiful fall color! This week I’m sharing my favorite Fall travel inspiration, and I hope you’ll share some of your favorite places as well!
Where is your favorite place to travel in Fall?
I actually LOVE fall travel to Europe! September and October usually mean great weather and smaller crowds. Plus, the locals are happier and well-rested from their August holidays. I also love visiting Boston and New Hampshire in the fall, but I don’t get back there like I used to!
I’ve been thinking a lot about Canada in the next month or two! Your packing list looks perfect. 🙂 You’re inspiring me!
That sounds so wonderful! I’d love to visit Central Europe then. I’ve got some more Fall lists coming up as well. 🙂
