Memoirs of Alaska

I’ve been stuck in a rut when it comes to what to put on the walls in our Master Bedroom. I went through a number of different ideas in my head but none of them resonated with me. I knew I wanted it to be related to our travels, and something with clean lines. As a professional photographer (and busy mama) I know first-hand how time consuming it is to properly print and frame your own images, so I was completely thrilled when Framebridge kindly offered to help us out. They offer custom framing for original art (they will even send you sturdy packaging to ship your art safely to them) or you can upload your art and they will print it for you. Choosing just one image to upload proved to be a challenge, but I settled on a triptych of this image from our trip to Alaska:

The ordering process was very simple, and they even had a visual preview tool which was perfect for helping chose the perfect frame for my image. I chose the irvine modern white frame with a white mat to go with it, but they offer many other styles as well. After a couple of quick steps, I was done with my order. It was the easiest process for framing a photo I’ve ever done, and the cost is very affordable as well. Some places have quoted me an arm and a leg for framing work of this size, but Framebridge uses easy to figure out size-ranges simplify the process for you.Framebridge custom framing review on Team Wiking Blog. The prints arrived quickly, carefully packed into boxes. They came with the beautiful instructions and accessories that I would need to hang the frames. I chose to hang them above our headboard, and now every time we crawl into bed we are reminded of our trip. I really love how simple the process was, it has even inspired me to order a couple more prints for other parts of the house as well.

If you would like to have something framed, order prints of your own work, or have your instagram photos framed, fear not! Framebridge was nice enough to extend a 15% discount to readers of Team Wiking until October 31st, 2015. Simply enter the code FRAME15 during checkout and wait for your art to arrive!

Love this!! This gives me great decoration inspiration for our new house/ bedroom.

You made some great choices. I have so many things I’d like to frame – mostly of the kids. I’m working on it!

your pictures are amazing!! Love the simpleness of the whole look.

Wow. You your pictures turned out so nicely. I do have a few pictures that I would like to get framed.

These are beautiful! We’ve just got a painting that was here when we arrived above our bed! I can’t wait to have a place of our own so we can decorate properly!

I love those pictures! They are so beautiful! Nature is just so pretty!

Love that it is your own images. I would love to get some of my husband’s images framed for him!

This is SUCH an awesome service and I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this. I have SO so many pictures that I need printed. Also, I have clients ask me about stuff like this all the time so I’ll have to check them out

Soo awesome! I’m about to move in with my boyfriends so decorating has been a huge part of my daily thoughts!

Gorgeous! I have always wanted to go to Alaska, so I’m super jealous of these. I love this idea too!

That is such a great idea! Now that I have my fancy camera, I need to take some pictures to frame around the house

Those are gorgeous! The set looks amazing.

Looks amazing. I’m in need of a great idea for a head board.

such a lovely set!! 🙂 we need to print and put up more photos in our house.. but we seriously never get around to printing them. i have the hardest time decorating our walls.

It took my hubby and I six and a half years to find the right thing for the wall behind out bed – we talked about travel photos (which was my vote) but eventually ended up with three Buddhas, I like them but I still think travel photos would have reflected us better. Love these!

I love everything about this room. And those framed photos look excellent. I need to actually get my pics off the computer and up on the walls!

Will definitely be taking your lead! We have some amazing pics from our trips, but I’ve yet to have them printed. Love this idea!

I loooove how you did the split up photos of the same image. That is so pretty! And it’s especially awesome since it’s your own photo 🙂

Those are so beautiful! I love how you have them above the bed. So clean and chic.

I love these! Definitely bookmarking them because I have a ton of pictures I need printed and framed and there is no way I could do it all on my own.

Those frames look good there! I love it that it’s YOUR own photography, and not…bought from Home Sence or something.

Oh my, I could never! Though sometimes I am tempted when I don’t have a shot I want, haha.

This is sooo cool and I think I might do this! I’ve been struggling with how to decorate that same area above our bed… We have so many great photos from Iceland we could use. Hmm! Thanks, I’m going to look into this!

I would do this with Iceland photos 100x over. Drool !

Wow, that’s a gorgeous picture! I’ve always wanted to go to Alaska.
