Panama City Beach with Rachel Tindall

Panama City Beach, Florida

I’ve never been to Panama City Beach area, but I’ve been to other parts of Florida and had a blast. I loved the difference between the ocean and gulf sides, but for the most part the temperatures were the same as long as you were near the coast. I’d love to visit again to explore other areas I haven’t been to before. Today I have Rachel Tindall from To Hell in a Handbag to talk about her time in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Can you share a little bit about yourself?

I am married to my high school sweetheart and have been for a long time. We have two boys, Jaiden and Jaxon. I love all things pretty, so for as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with fashion and beauty. I started To Hell in a Handbag a few years ago devoted to those things but would like to expand on my topics to also include DIY tutorials, fitness, and cooking with a focus on healthy recipes.

Have you been to Panama City Beach?

One of my very favorite places to visit is the stretch of highway known as Hwy 30a in Panama City Beach, FL/ Santa Rosa Beach. You may know it as the area that houses the cutest communities Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seacrest and Seaside.

What was your favorite thing to do there? What do you recommend for others?

Besides visiting the most beautiful beaches in the country, taking in the beauty of Eden Gardens State Park, I always make time to stop in a very cool bookstore in Rosemary called The Hidden Lantern.

More places I like to see and do are…
For shopping: Willow/ Willow +Woods, Mercantile, Perspicasity in Seaside, Fashionably Late, Ophelia Swimwear and Patchouli’s.
Coffee I go to Amavida in Rosemary or Fonville Press in Alys.
The Great Southern Cafe for breakfast.
Dinner is almost always The Red Bar, the Caliza Restaurant by the amazing pool in Alys or for something romantic Cafe Tango is perfect!
Drinks at Bud & Alley’s or the rooftop lounge Sol Luna at The Pearl in Rosemary.

What 5 items you would you pack for Panama City Beach?

1. A great swimsuit in a one-piece or two-piece.
2. A DSLR to capture all the beautiful scenery and maybe fit in some time to take pics for the blog
3. A great pair of sandals, I also like this pair.
4. A couple dresses for day (or this one) and this one for night (40% off with insta40).
5. The perfect pair of sunglasses like these.

Can you share one last tip for anyone who would like to visit?

There is just so much to see and do so make sure you have plenty of time. It’s the perfect place to visit for families and couples alike. Oh, and don’t forget the sunscreen!
