This has been such a busy summer for us. To make our on-the-go adventures a little easier Goodbyn sent over some Hero lunch boxes and other goodies for the boys since we loved Aiden’s old one so much. We headed to Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park for a picnic to test it all out. They are the perfect size for a decent lunch and a few snacks. I really love the little containers inside of them because Søren likes to carry his snacks around and they are perfect for sauces and yogurts. The drink bottles have been updated since our first Goodbyn and seal nice and tight. The spork is a nice touch too, even though Søren still preferred to use his hands. Aiden can’t wait to use his for school and they both have since added more stickers to their Goodbyns.

After lunch on the grass, we took a walk around the lake. We passed by the cutest pile of turtles on a rock. The boys were really excited about the sail boats, so we spent some time watching them as well. There is a small place near the lake that rents them, but we decided to save it for another day. The weather was sunny with a light breeze, my favorite kind of weather in San Francisco, or anywhere.

Goodbyn Hero LunchboxThe Goodbyn Hero lunch boxes and accessories that the boys are enjoying were provided free of charge by Goodbyn. All opinions are my own.

What a fun pace! Also those lunch boxes seem super convenient!

What a beautiful park. My brother is in San Francisco this week with his girlfriend, so I’ll recommend this park to them!

Fun!!! I really want to go on a picnic but it is still 100 degrees here!!

Those are awesome! I want one for myself. Also, that park is gorgeous!

So cute, your boys are so darling, and your hair makes me wonder if I actually want to go and get a haircut tomorrow.

You took so many wonderful pictures! I love the Goodbyn lunch box!

Looks like you had a really lovely picnic 🙂 great photos!

What a wonderful picnic! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures with us!

I don’t go on nearly as many local adventures as I should. I live in such a great city too so I need to get out more and explore some of the parks I’ve never been to. I love all of your pictures in this post!

Love those lunch boxes! Have to see if I can get them here, they would come in so handy. Great pics as always ♥

I have been to GGP so many times but never to that lake! Do they make lunch boxes for adults? 🙂

What a beautiful adventure. I’m loving these lunch boxes. I’ve been on the search for something like this.

I love me a good family picnic. We take one almost every week.

As always, LOVE your photos!! Makes me want to get out and do something fun! I need to plan something for the weekend! Love those lunch boxes. I was looking into getting something similar for us.

Best mom ever for packing adorable healthy lunches! I always loved having picnics in the park as a child and still do. It’s been too long since I last did that… probably about a year.

Those lunch boxes are pretty cool. I like the little compartments!

I love the photos of the turtles! Seriously, how cute is that?!

Those lunch boxes are so cute! You always have good pictures and it looks like you had a great time!

Those turtles are amazing! So cute, can’t believe they just float around in the lake there! Such a picturesque day – I always love your photos. The sail boats are so calming.

Is that a stone turtle that all the other ones are hanging out on?? Lovely photos as always. That goodbyn looks perfect for picnics and on the go.

I was just about to ask where you got those lunch boxes — now I don’t have to! I love that lake – your photos are gorgeous. What a fun afternoon!

I LOVE San Francisco – one of my favorite cities to visit (and thankfully, only a few hours away – or, it was…). I love the idea of packing up a picnic and just doing a little mini-vacay in your own backyard. Glad you had a fun time!

Your photography is so stunning, I need to take some tips from you!

Love all these pictures and am so glad you had a great summer! Those lunch containers look so convenient! I love how they have specific slots!

Beautiful photos! What type of camera do you use?

Thanks! It’s a Canon 5D MKIII, with a Canon 35mm f1.2L lens. I also use a canon 135 f2 lens too sometimes.

Love that pile of turtles! What a fun park. I grew up near there- such a great area!

That place looks seriously phenomenal. I love all the turtle in the lake. What a great way to spend a afternoon then enjoying the park and the sun. Great post!

This looks like such a fun place to spend the day. I love lakeside parks.

This looks like such a relaxing place to visit. Those Goodbyn boxes look pretty handy! And I am with you on the sunny with a light breeze weather. It’s really the bee’s knees 🙂
