Sun Protection On The Go

One of my least favorite parts about our frequent beach outings is applying sunscreen. I try to keep us all covered up as much as possible but still apply sunscreen to best take care of our skin. During our trip to Lake Tahoe, I was able to try sunforgettable by Colorescience. It’s a tinted mineral powder sunscreen that doesn’t leave behind tons of oily residue like traditional mineral sunscreens.travel-tips-colorescience-sunforgettable-3 travel-tips-colorescience-sunforgettable-4Application is super easy. Simply sweep the brush over your face and body to release powder. Use small circular strokes to release more powder, for more coverage. Apply liberally and evenly before sun exposure; re-apply every two hours throughout the day for continued protection.

I tried it out on my face and was very happy with the results. No mess, no burn.

  • Great sun coverage without the need for any additional makeup.
  • Quick and easy so I don’t have to worry about the boys running off while I apply it.
  • The best part is, it is not a liquid so you can pack it in your carry on without hassle.
  • All natural broad spectrum (UVA + UVB) protection.

Right now Colorescience is running a “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” special on sunforgettable, perfect to hold you over until ned summer. Simply add 4 brushes to your cart and the discount will be automatically reflected in your total.

Wow, I love the idea of this. I agree with you that applying sunscreen is one of the least fave parts of a holiday. This looks so easy and convenient!

Wow, I love the idea of this! I completely agree about applying sunscreen being one of the least favourite parts of holidays. This looks so easy and convenient!

Wow!! This is crazy!! I have been trying to find a good mineral sunscreen

This is something that I’ve never seen before at all. Looks great.

This is so interesting! I’ve never heard of a powder sunscreen before. Does it mess up your clothes if you’re wearing white?

Love the application of this! We are always in need of sunscreen and like you it’s such a pain in the bum. Will def have to try this out. Thanks!

I can vouch that this stuff is AMAZING!

Your photos are breath taking…I would love to use an applicator like that, but I’ve asthma. It makes your skin looks flawless!

I love this! I hate the feeling of being greasy. As a very fair skinned person, I have to constantly reapply and it never ends pretty.

I can’t wait to try colorescience! I love that it is all natural and isn’t filled with chemicals like so many sunscreens are now. xoxo

Gorgeous pictures! I’ll have to try this stuff – sounds wonderful!

This is the best idea. Sunscreen in mineral form, makes everything so easy. Your pictures look amazing!!

Oh, wow, that’s so unique! I have never tried sunscreen in powder form!! <3

Holy crap! That is amazing. I have never heard of that product. That is a must have. Great photos too, very pretty.

Beautiful photos! That mineral powder/sunscreen is so neat!

What a cool product. I hate liquid sunscreen. It’s so annoying and it makes me breakout.

I also love your makeup. So pretty.

I’ve never heard of a sun screen that’s in powder form! How crazy – must try this next time I go on holiday. Does it basically look like makeup?

Very cool! This stuff would be great to carry with me in my purse. Definitely checking it out.

how convenient! i am a very fair skinned, freckly mama & do my best to stay out of the sun or protected well if i must go out. i love that you shared this, because i will definitely have to add it to my must try list..

days at the beach and lake in the summer are my favorite. I just visited Lake Tahoe for the first time this summer and it was amazing. Applying sunscreen totally sucks which is usually why I use a sunscreen spray (they’re just easier IMO) , but for face, sunscreen powder can have it’s benefits especially when you feel really oily you know? Have one I love but this one looks promising as well!

Once again, beautiful photos! 🙂 Also – this sunscreen is perfect – I need some! 🙂

gorgeous sunglasses! love the post!
