A new experience we had while in Napa was wine tasting. We’ve never been wine tasting before so when Trinitas Cellars generously invited us to come tasting in the Estate Cave we were very excited to try something new. When we found out the kids were coming with us last minute, they were very reassuring that they would have a good time as well. During our tasting our host gave us a little history of the wine and helped us choose which wines we might like the best. I am more of a sweet and white wine person while Steve enjoys a good red. The kids enjoyed some pinot noir (non-alcoholic) wine country soda. The experience was very pleasant, and I’d definitely go back again. […] Resort & Spa Secluded and romantic, with a wine cave and free shuttles downtown. 875 Bordeaux Way, Napa, California 94558 […]

Napa is on my bucket list, and I love a good wine tasting. I’m making a note so that I don’t miss Trinitas when we do get up there. Thanks for the tip!

I love wine tasting trips up to Napa and Healdsburg…I’ll definitely be checking out Trinitas, looks so cozy and romantic!

I took my Mom there when she visited me in the Bay Area, and we did the chocolate-paired tasting. Good stuff!

Ooh, I thought about it but I can’t have dairy so really I’d only have wine anyway, haha. It sounded so fun though!

Definitely did a double-take when I saw the photo with your son drinking out of a glass. 😉 Navarro up in Mendocino County makes a killer grape juice (actually several) with their wine grapes. In case you’re ever headed up that way with the kiddos.

Ha! I know when I reviewed the photos later I thought, “Oh man, can’t include that one without an explanation”. I’ll have to add that to my list. We are thinking of heading that way soon.
