Flashing back to August of 2010, we decided on a whim to take a drive down highway 1 to a beach that my family used to camp near annually around New Years. It was always cold and rainy but lucky for us the weather is better in August. I have so many fond memories of morning walks to Sand Dollar Beach and watching the dolphins swim in the cove in the morning.

this is so beautiful! i seriously cannot wait until we can take this drive as well. my favorite is that bridge set against the mountain!
