Badgley Mischka Forest Gown (c/o Rent The Runway) / J.Crew Glitter Clutch (sold out, similar to rent by Kate Spade, or similar by Jimmy Choo) / Oscar de la Renta Foliage Earrings (c/o Rent The Runway) / Elizabeth and James Micro Knuckle Ring (c/o Rent The Runway) / Michael Kors Shoes / Dior Bar Nail Polish / MAC Sweetie Lipstick
Just before the holiday we attended my husband’s work holiday party. It was downtown at a fancy venue, so formal attire was requested. I took the opportunity to really dress it up (he even wore a bow tie, swoon!). I don’t normally shop for nicer occasions since I feel like it’s frivolous to purchase something that you’ll only wear once. I am a huge fan of Rent the Runway, and discovered them years ago (here too!), so I partnered with them to put together my look for the occasion. I wore these Braza Beige Petal Concealers because you can’t wear a normal bra with this dress, but I was able to wear my spanx under it (good thing, sequins are not forgiving!). I also tried on the Badgley Mischka Award Winner Gown which fit just like the Forest Gown but was a platinum-blush hue.
Now that the holidays are over, I’m sure you’re chomping at the bit to choose your New Years Eve look. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite New Years Eve dresses and accessories from Rent the Runway for an easy and chic New Years experience.
