While thinking about how I’d like to do Sørens announcements I came across this decorative tape and am still in love. I still think it’s a little on the pricey side though and wanted to make my own with my trusty Xyron create-a-sticker. It’s super easy and you can do it too!
Materials Needed:
Xyron 1.5″ Create-A-Sticker
Lace, Fabric, or Decorative Paper
Scissors, Pinking shears (optional)
Simply trim your lace, fabric, or paper to the size that you would like your tape to be. I trim mine about .5″ wide and 1.5-2″ long. Feed it into the top of the “X”. Pull the paper out the bottom and remove the plastic wrapping and presto! You have your own decorative tape. If you are using fabric be careful peeling it off of the backing or the fabric may fray. Feel free to make it as long or as short as you’d like. I prefer to do single pieces so that I have more versatility, but, in reality you could create an entire “roll” of tape. You can even print out patterns, stickers, or labels from the computer if you really want to get creative.
A Giveaway!
Lucky for you, Xyron has been so kind enough to provide not one, but two of my favorite 1.5″ Create-A-Stickers for a giveaway!
