Awhile back I visited Sunset Magazine’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Since then they’ve moved to Oakland, and while their new headquarters are pretty cool, it doesn’t leave them with much garden space. Enter Cornerstone Sonoma. The garden space they’ve developed there is a beautiful collaboration with Homestead Design Collective. It includes a 2,300 sq ft cocktail garden, a farm garden at 2,502 sq ft, a 2,852 sq ft orchard, a 1,898 sq ft gathering space, and a 1,773 sq ft flower room (Dreamy!). My favorite part of the garden had to be the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired greenhouse by NW Green Panels, and I’m still loving the arches by TerraSculpture.
The rest of Cornerstone was pretty amazing as well. My favorite find was a little store called Nomad Chic (with another store in Todos Santos, Mexico), and a tasting room for Meadowcroft Wines (I’m always a sucker for pretty bottles).
