Venturing to the beach alone with the boys isn’t something I do often. Søren is very active and carrying him plus everything else down to the beach is a daunting thought. But for sake of getting out of the house and exploring another beach we started on our way to Seabright Beach, in Santa Cruz, California.
We had great luck finding a parking space and headed down to the beach, toddler, umbrella, backpack, and sand toys in tow. Aiden helped carry some stuff down, so it wasn’t too bad of a walk. It was overcast but the sand was plenty warm. I had a little time to relax while the boys dug a hole. What is it with boys and digging holes at the beach? After awhile they got restless so we chased each other and went for a walk along the water. As the wind picked up I could sense nap time approaching fast, so we packed up and headed home.
