During my recent trip to Venice Beach, the weather was a little cooler than I expected, but it was still nice enough to walk along the beach. Some people were even swimming in the ocean, which as a California-born and raised girl seemed crazy. I guess I might be a little spoiled since we live so close to the beach. It takes really warm weather to get me to swim in our oceans, haha. Either way, the day was beautiful and the marine layer added to that. I plan on sharing my favorite spots in Venice Beach soon, so be on the lookout.
This week I’ve been down with a little cold I caught from the boys, one of them must have brought it home from school. And this weekend we’re having our family photos taken, I’m determined to be on top of holiday cards this year, ha! We’re supposed to do them on the beach in San Francisco (dream location!), but because of the rain (in California, I know right?!) they might get moved indoors. My husband flies out to Oahu on Sunday, and the kids and I will follow on Tuesday, so excited!
