Can’t wait to see the rest of the pics… these are gorgeous!! I also can’t get over how tall Aiden is getting. He surely has passed you up and is gaining on Steve!! 🙂

    1. He is SO tall. I thought I’d have until Middle School for him to pass me up, but he did it sooner.

  2. Your blog is beautiful! Curious who designed it or is it a theme?

    1. Thanks! It’s a customized theme from Station Seven.

  3. You’re pictures are just amazing. It looks amazing! Man, I need a trip to Maui 🙂

  4. Thank you for sharing these fabulous photos (the last one is crazy amazing!) of Maui. I havent been there since I was a teenager but have so much love for the place! I wish it was closer to me (I live in Cleveland) because that plane ride is tough stuff! Love living vicariously through your photos!

    1. Keep it coming, wrisert, this is good stuff.

    2. First off I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.Any recommendations or tips? Many thanks!

    3. Hi Mark,Thanks for video. I did what you did except used off camera speedlite flash SB900 but either the subject was too dark when the background was dark or if the subject was well lit, then the background was not pitch black, I believe the light behind the subject was cause by the flash, so I could not get that affect. I tried all types of Apertures/Shutter speeds and ISO and I have D90, is the shot possible? If so what am I doing wrong?ThanksJohn

  6. Okay well…I def need to go to Maui now!

  7. That waterfall picture is amazing! I can’t wait to see more photos from your trip to Maui! Maui is on my bucket place to visit someday!

    1. Thank you so much! I think that one is my favorite too. I’m a little partial, but I’m also always a sucker for sunset silhouette photos.
