I was a bit late to the game in ordering Søren’s birth announcements but finally was able to complete and mail them out thanks to the wonderful folks at Paper Culture! When I was pregnant I started stalking this birth announcement. I loved it’s natural feeling and simple sophistication. I also love that Paper Culture is an eco-friendly company, they are local to me, and that I got the chance to meet them in person at BlogHer 2011.
The ordering process was visual and easy to use. Photos were easy to upload and customize, text was easy to update, and the instructions were clear and understandable. I even got to pick out my own “back” layout and add more photos or text.
Once I completed my order I had the opportunity to dedicate a tree to someone (they plant a tree with every order!) so obviously I chose Søren.
When the announcements arrived less than a week later I was impressed with their modern eco friendly packaging. I felt like I was opening a gift. And the box (although kidnapped by my older son, Aiden) would come in handy for storing extra announcements in.
Throughout the entire process I felt as though I were working with a close friend which is important considering they are meant to announce something so near and dear to me. They have a professional designer review every order and make tiny tweaks that make all the difference when ordering a nice card. I received several proofs and my order was not processed until I approved the final design.
I am utterly in love with the end result. If you have a moment, please use it to check out Paper Culture‘s amazing selection of cards, announcements, and even bamboo wall art.
These announcements were provided to me free of cost for the purpose of review by Paper Culture.
