    1. I’m so glad that you enjoyed your visit. Tahoe is so diverse and large I feel like it can truly be an experience for everyone.

  2. So I am defiantly going to add Lake Tahoe on my list of places to visit! Maybe we will go in the winter when it snows 🙂

    1. As you should! There hasn’t been a lot of snow lately but it does get cold. Our favorite place to ski/board is Kirkwood just south of Tahoe. 🙂

  3. It seems like a great place to visit! I didn’t know much about it, but now I think I’d love to go there.

  6. How is it that I just left, and it’s already time to go back?! I think I waited too late in life to go, but these make it that much more enticing. Weeee.

  7. Note to seeeellllf…..Heidi’s Pancake House. The Guy loves breakfast foods (unlike me. I prefer sandwiches lol). I think we’re heading out to Tahoe towards the end of September, so I’ll have to keep in mind, some of these spots we should visit. Always love your city guides. Helps a newbie out 😉

  29. […] I’m headed off to North Lake Tahoe for a couple of days, so I’m looking for some suggestions for things to eat, see, and do while I’m there. I don’t have a lot of time so I’m looking to get right into the local-type stuff, similar to what we did in South Lake Tahoe. […]

  30. […] All in all it worked out to be a beautiful location to stay at, and we really loved watching the sunset from the beach and pier. It was very easy to get to other parts of south shore without having to be in the hustle and bustle of the more popular area. We’d definitely return again if we are staying in south shore. If you want to know some of our favorite south shore things to do, read my handy city guide. […]
