Happy Friday! Today’s outfit is a mix of a little feel good, and a little late Summer. It’s casual enough for running errands or grabbing coffee withe the girls. It features my favorite boyfriend shorts from Lou & Grey, and my new favorite slides by Melissa (they’re waterproof!). It also has a little social good in it via the This is Not a Sweatshirt sweatshirt I’m wearing.
Many times I receive e-mail from companies offering product in exchange for featuring them on my blog, and many times I politely decline. When I received an e-mail from Sudara their mission was one that needs to be shared. Often it’s easy to look beyond something that is a problem for someone else just because it doesn’t effect you personally, and not necessarily in a malicious manner, but because we don’t know how to help. Sudara’s mission is to help women in India who have escaped the confines of sex-trafficking get their life back together. Each product is made in India and used as a means to advance these Women’s lives towards something more safe and stable.
This weekend I’m off to Lake Tahoe for a little wellness retreat and some well needed R&R. We’ve got some kayaking, hiking, and a much needed spa treatment planned and I’ll be sharing via my instagram photos and stories along the way.
