Four Seasons Maui at Wailea

Four Seasons Resort at Maui from above

During our trip to Maui we were graciously hosted by Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. It was our first time staying at a Four Seasons, so we were really excited, and probably giggly. From the moment we arrived at Four Seasons Maui, we were made to feel welcome and pampered. We received a lei greeting, cool towels, and fresh lemonade all before we could make it to the front desk for check-in. Check-in was a breeze and we spent the rest of the day poolside to wind down after our trip.

Accommodations

The ocean view room room was spacious, at 600 square feet in size. The room was everything we expected from a room at Four Seasons. It featured two queen beds, a mini bar area, and an extra large bathroom with a soaking tub and separate wc. The toiletries were top notch from Lorenzo Villoresi Firenze, and there was a separate bath pack for the little ones. The lanai was our favorite area, as the expansive ocean view was perfect at any time of day. One of our favorite things to do was eat breakfast on our lanai before heading out to explore the island.

Amenities

Most of the resort amenities were included in our stay. They ranged anywhere from cabanas with service, to an outrigger canoe excursion. While most of the services & amenities were something I would expect from a five star hotel, there was one aspect that really left us smiling. Our stay here was one of the most family friendly trips we’ve ever taken. The resort really goes above and beyond with their family amenities that range from complimentary diapers to child-sized bath robes. During dinner at Ferraro’s, the server even brought out special toddler sized utensils for Søren to choose his favorite, and they made a special tropical drink for Aiden to feel special as well.

We really can not express how much we enjoyed our stay here. There were so many little details that added up to make every single moment exceptional, and I could talk about them forever. I feel like that is what really makes a place great to stay. We didn’t want to head home so soon, and can’t wait to return. As for a rating, 10/10 is easily our pick. I honestly can’t think of any reason to rate it less, it was pure perfection.
