London has always been a city that intrigues me, especially after drooling over yesterday’s post. The weather is cooler, and nights might require that you throw on a warm coat. When I think of what to pack for London, I think about the muted tones and sophistication of British style. I think my favorite items from this list are the striped turtleneck and shirtdress, they’re so effortlessly chic.

Hi! As a born-and-bred Londoner I’m always fascinated to see how our fashion is perceived by others. I was really glad to see that you’ve got some absolute key items on your list; Chelsea boots, skinny jeans & cashmere is pretty much what Londoners live in for Autumn, Winter & Spring (because, let’s face it, we’re not known for our sunny weather).

I did follow one of the links you’ve included though, and just in case anyone else reads it, no one in London EVER says “how do you do?” – not even the royals; that’s so 19th century. Instead go with the much more laid back (and normal) “how are you?” It’s much more appropriate to 21st century 😉

Great post x
