Russian Gulch State Park

Russian Gulch was a place on my list of ‘stops’ for our Mendocino Trip, and rightfully so. Though we didn’t have time (light) on our side to explore, the park is very large. We crossed a shallow stream to get to the almost empty beach. If you go here and have to cross the stream, do yourself a favor and don’t try to hop from rock to rock. I may or may not have learned that the hard way. The good news is that my camera stayed dry and I just walked around without shoes the rest of the time there anyway.
