In My Bag: Packing for Vancouver

In my bag, packing for Vancouver, Canada

This week I’m off on a quick getaway to Vancouver, Canada on a work trip with Genesis USA to check out a new car. The trip is only a few days long but is jam-packed with different types of activities. On top of the flight there and back, we’re going to spend some time driving the Sea to Sky Highway and enjoying a little of what British Colombia has to offer. I packed a carry-on suitcase and my favorite tote, both with ample room to spare.

As a side note, I found out that evenings dinner seemed a little nicer, so I popped by the mall next door to find the biggest Aritzia store ever (ours is like a closet), and picked up the Cohen Pants by Babaton as well as a Murphy Blouse by the same brand to attend the presentation and dinner. I wore them with these shoes that I already had packed. I really love the pants and the shirt is growing on me, I think it will pair well with denim too or black jeans.

The trip was short but full of excitement. I’ll post a recap once I’m home and able to process everything. I feel like I packed a lot of items, but it was mostly because of how varied the weather and activities were. I still had ample room left in my suitcase, so it wasn’t a huge concern for me.

Have you been to Vancouver? What did you pack?

  5. I was never really all that interested in visiting Canada, but I have to say I am definitely warming up to the idea and I love the thought of exploring another country 😉 xx Adaleta Avdic

  6. I love your packing lists. I am going to Denver for a work week next week and I am trying to pack everything in a carry on….I usually take 5 bags for a weekend in Lake Arrowhead 2 hours away. Wish me luck – I’m going to try to unleash my inner Hej Doll 😉

I love your packing lists. I find it interesting that you seem to pack a lot of silk items. I’m always hesitant to pack silk because it wrinkles so easily. Do you have any tips to minimize wrinkles, or do you just hope that your hotel provides an iron?

  8. I love your packing lists!! It has been AGES since I have been to Vancouver and while I don’t currently have plans to go back I’m sure I will one day. I also have the Cohen pants from Aritzia and I LOVE them!! They are the best!
