After our apple picking adventure, we made a little unplanned lunch stop at Capitola State Beach a.k.a. Capitola City Beach. Originally we just wanted to get our toes wet, but we ended up grabbing sandwiches from a nearby deli and enjoying the beach for a couple of hours. It is always a good reminder when we just ‘stop by’ of how little we actually need to bring with us.
Capitola is the first beach I went to with some Canadian visiting friends, when I first moved here!

Capitola is my best friend’s favorite place in the world. We go there for girlfriend’s weekends at least once a year, it is a fun place!

So true! We used to load up with so much crap, so much. But now it’s just me, the husband and the boys. If it’s time to get out of the water, then we go home. We only live about 15 minutes away from the beach though, so there’s that. It takes us longer to go to Target. haha
