When Steve and I were just dating, he swept me off my feet with a romantic getaway to Monte Rio, California. It’s in the Russian River area, west of Napa and the rest of wine country. We spent some time at my favorite place, Korbel (they give free tours!), visited Armstrong Redwoods Park, and also followed the Russian River to the coast and visited nearby Portuguese Beach. It’s one of my favorite little getaways that we’ve gone on as a couple.
