Packing for Alt hasn’t been one of the easier trips I’ve planned for. Every night is a different event and some even have suggested dress, so even though the trip is fairly short (5 days), it makes up for it in evening events and extracurriculars. Plus, I’m speaking so I need to look like I actually have it together, ha! My good friend Reichel will be speaking as well, so keep an eye out for shenanigans on socail media.
You can shop the list of what I chose to pack for Alt Summit above or below, and keep reading for my outfits.
Day 1. Travel to Salt Lake City, Utah. Check-in, etc.
Night 1. Sponsor dinner, no theme.
Day 2. Speaking at roundtable
Night 2. Starry Night Party, might wear boots instead.
Day 3. Speaking at roundtables.
Night 3. Mini Parties
Day 4. Exploring Salt Lake City
Day 5. Travel home to California.
In my conference bag I usually only have the basics. I like to keep room for anything I might pickup or need along the way. I’ll probably add a water bottle to this but I’m still not sure if I’m going to pack one or if they will have glasses of water there instead.
1. Business Cards from Moo (I love the luxe line). / 2. Macbook Pro with this marble skin / 3. Le Pen fine tip pens / 4. Sunglasses (in case you venture outside) / 5. Travel wallet / 6. Scarf in case it’s chilly / 7. Tote bag (with an extra reusable shopping bag in case you need it) / 8. Notebook, love this large size from HAY. / 9. Business card case (one side for mine, one side for yours) / 10. SLR Camera (I can’t settle for iPhone photos).
I’ll be live packing all day over on snapchat (@hejdoll), follow along if you’d like! If you’re going to Alt, I hope to see you there! If not, I hope you have a wonderful week anyway!
What are your favorite conference necessities?

These looks are perfect for the Summit. I was really interested in going this year and missed out due to some commitments at the office. Hope it was a huge success! XO

You are the ultimate packer. I’m so impressed. I adore these monochromatic looks. Simply perfect.

I hope you had a great time at Alt Summit! I am a big fan of “color streamlining” or packing one neutral color that coordinates with everything I bring. It helps me to pack lighter and mix and match easily when I’m in a hurry.

That is a great idea! I think I do it a lot without giving it a proper name, haha.
