With cooler weather in full swing here in California, I’ve teamed up with my friends over at Zappos to share a little of the exploring I’ve been up to this Fall. One of my favorite places to visit is the Redwood Grove in Los Altos. I love it because it’s a slice of beautiful nature just minutes from my favorite coffee shop. It’s the best of both places for me.

As a frequent traveler and lover of both the city and nature, I’ve come to really appreciate products that can perform double duty. The boots from Blundstone that I’m wearing move seamlessly between my favorite coffee spot and walking through this beautiful redwood grove. They came quick from Zappos and have been a favorite for me since they arrived. Zappos has been a favorite of mine for years. You really can’t beat their quick shipping, return policy, and great customer service.

This weekend I’m off to Southern California for a little family time (hint: I’m gonna have another niece!!!). I’m not super stoked about the fairly long drive, but I can’t wait to see my nieces and nephews and spend time with my brother and his wife.

What is your favorite piece for fall? Does it serve a dual purpose?

  6. Bloundstones are my favorite travel boot! Not too tight in the toes and so easy to match with everything! Also love reversible infinity scarves, barefoot dreams beanies, and my rain coat from Athleta-it’s a tan color like a trench coat but 100% waterproof and chic!

  7. This is stunning! I’ve never been able to experience the redwoods and I NEED to go!

  10. Wow the landscape looks breathtaking! I absolutely adore fall because it gives me the opportunity to pull out all of my favorite scarves. I simply adore the boots you have on! They look perfect for trampling through the forest. I work in the Forestry Industry and love looking at Trees in General. It would be simply amazing to pick up my favorite coffee to walk to the Redwood Grove. What better way to spend the morning? These trees are seriously something to look at for sure! I love all of the pictures!

  11. It looks like you had a great time. I love all the pictures! My favorite piece for Fall is this sweater dress that I’ve had for a few years now. It’s a little worn from overuse but I’m still hanging on to it. 🙂

  12. This is such a CUTE laid back outfit. I love dresses and how you styled yours is perfection!

  16. Hi there! I know this is not very much related with your post… i want to buy a new coffee machine and, after surfing online, i found this one called Orca Coffee it seems quite nice but i am looking for 2nd opinions.Have you ever heard about it? Thanks

    1. I haven’t. I’ve been using a Chemex with a stainless steel filter for 6 years now and we have no complaints. No waste, tastes great!
