This Little Explorer post is different because we’re at home. If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that my musical room photos have slowed down. I finished Søren’s room and still have some loose ends to tie up in the other two, but so far all has been good. Søren has really settled into having his own room and enjoys playing with his toys, even if sometimes it means they still escape to the rest of the house. He’s in an awkward transition  where he is beginning to outgrow a lot of his younger toys and is starting to play with bigger toys, so the quantity is a little out of control. There is additional storage in the closet, as well as under his bed. If you’d like to know sources for items, keep reading.

I listed sources for most items below, but if you’d like to ask about a specific item, feel free to do so in the comments!

  1. Now that’s a fantastic room for a kid! Nice work, Jessica!

  2. Wow, Søren’s room is absolutely lovely! You have such an eye for clean design and he is a lucky boy to have so many wonderful toys and books, but I also like that it’s not overkill. I also never really put much thought into all the decorating and interior design that comes with being a mom, so now I have this to add to the list of reasons why I cannot wait to have kids one day!
