I know I’ve mentioned it a few times, but I’ll probably mention it a few more. It was so cold for me to go from sunny California to chilly New England. I wore this outfit in Boston. I packed a nice wool coat, scarf, gloves, and all sorts of other cool weather goodies, but was pretty cold any time I left the hotel. On a sunnier day, my new friend Amanda and I went for a walk around the Back Bay area of Boston and I really enjoyed some of the older architecture, it’s not something I get to see a lot of in my area. This outfit helped me stay a little warmer, and this old church we found blocked some of the wind and cold for a little break.

What are your favorite cold-weather staples?

    1. I was there at the end of March in 2015! 🙂 It wasn’t snowing the whole time or enough to stick, and if I remember right it was even raining on the day I arrived. It was very, very cold either way and it’s definitely a walking city.
