One of my favorite parts of our trip to Iceland was our visit to The Blue Lagoon. We visited the baths in Mývatn earlier in our trip and while they were wonderful and relaxing, they were also a lot more low key. The Blue Lagoon was a true experience for us, and we’ll never forget it. I may or may not be planning a stopover or two so we can go back.

We purchased the comfort package which included a towel, a drink from the swim-up bar, and a mask of our choice. I chose the silica mud mask and it felt so nice on my skint that I had a hard time keeping a straight face for a photo (ha!). It was so fun to see everyone with their masks on as well and my official souvenir from our trip was to continue my Iceland trip beauty at home. The water was warmer in some areas than others, and it was more than large enough that even when it seemed really busy we could still have a quiet place for ourselves.

I wore my Ariana swimsuit from Apricoss swimwear. It’s made from earth-friendly materials and is one of the most flattering swimsuits I’ve owned. The front is a v-neck cut, and the back is open. It was easy to change in the locker room because you just step in and slide it over your shoulders. The leg openings are higher cut, so it really does make your legs look longer (Yes!). I did have a slight mishap going under a waterfall, when the water hit my shoulders it slid my suit halfway down (Oops!).

    1. Oh my goodness, have fun! And be sure to book your tickets ahead of time! They turned so many people away at the door and we just waltzed right up 20 minutes before our ticket time started and were in with no issues.

  4. This is so cool! I have been noticing a lot of people visiting Iceland lately and it really makes me want to plan a trip there.

  5. The Blue Lagoon was my favorite part of the Iceland trip, and I also had the comfort package! It was really nice to just chill, and I was so pruny by the end of it but I have to say it was FREEZING on my face & head because the water was so warm on my body, but my big ass head was cold (LOL) and then if I tried to get in and get out, that was a running deal because of the cold haha! xx Adaleta Avdic

    1. Oh man, that sounds kind of terrible, lol. You went in Winter though right? I can’t even imagine how much colder it would be. We didn’t even use robes/towels around us to/from the locker rooms. It was very pleasant.

  6. I sadly just heard of this in an episode of the Kardashians (yes, shoot me). I am so jealous! This looks absolutely fantastic and your pictures are stunning as always. Definitely a better feel than the TV show!
