Mommy and Me, Spring at Central Park

I’m Wearing Cuyana Rust-colored Linen Sweater, Lou & Grey Slouchy Skinny Jeans in Ecro (similar by Madewell), Veja Esplar Sneakers. Søren is wearing Zara Button-neck Top in white, Zara White Twill TrousersChestnut Brown Boots by Pèpè, c/oMunchkin et Moi.

Recently we celebrated my little one’s 5th birthday. Fifth! I can’t believe he’s five already, it seemed like we had his first birthday only yesterday. If you caught any of it on my instastories, the theme was loosely based on the book The Little Gardener by Emily Hughes. He’s been really into dressing up and doing things “like mommy” lately, especially the hair in the pony tail bit. He’s been trying to grow it out just like one of his friends. With Mother’s Day around the corner I thought it would be cute to do another Mommy and Me outfit post like we did on Goat Island during a trip to Oahu. Plus, I just love having photos with him while he’s still shorter than me (ha!).

I’m wearing a rust-colored linen sweater from the Cuyana Spring collection. The sweater is pretty colorful for my normal wear, but I love the fit of this style and feel of the fabric. It’s soft and light. I’m also wearing slouchy skinny jeans from Lou & Grey, and my favorite white sneakers from Veja. Did you know it’s pronounced like vay-jah, not vay-ha? I was saying the name wrong for so long. Oops. I’ll blame it on all the spanglish I’m around in California.

Søren is wearing a button-neck top and white twill trousers from Zara, along with a beautiful pair of chestnut brown boots by Pèpè. They were a gift from my friend Nicola over at Munchkin et Moi. Her little shop is full of beautiful and stylish shoes imported from Europe for your little ones. She’s got so many cute new goodies for Summer in too, with more always on the way. I’ve got my eye on these sandals by Young Soles for Søren for the Summer.

I can’t wait to share photos and details from his birthday party with you, so be on the lookout for it in the coming weeks!
