This shorter version of Travel Light hits home for me, mainly because I live so close to San Francisco. I’m in the city often for meetings, events, or just for fun and usually wear some variation of these outfits. Spring isn’t too chilly but the temperature can fluctuate a lot, so you’ll want to bring your jacket with you everywhere. I feel like this is a good mix of outfits for exploring San Francisco in the spring time, perfect for avoiding the busier summertime crowds.
Trainer Sneakers / Quilted Baseball Hat / Green Shorts
You might also want to bring along sneakers instead of slip-ons for extended walking, or a hat for days outdoors, and if you’re brave or plan to explore outside of San Francisco, a pair of shorts. Almost all of the items can be mixed and matched in some way to create additional outfits as well, especially if you plan to do laundry or wear an item more than once.
What would you pack for San Francisco in the Spring?

I would start prepping for baby and buy things from Nordstrom that I have been eyeing!
Love San Fran! Would buy tons of summer gear 🙂
I just want all of the outfits please 🙂
I would buy my professional wardrobe for my new teaching job in Japan !!! 🙂
I would change out the joggers for my new travel fave, Eileen Fisher’s skirted leggings. This is a great post. I’ll be in SF the weekend of April 11th on my way to China!
I still have yet to see the Painted Ladies. I saw the Full House house last week with my friend, which was kinda exciting.
I could get an all-new spring wardrobe with that much money! Crossing my fingers!
a few pretty bags and a cute necklace or two
Ooh, fantastic giveaway. 🙂 Maybe a new bedroom set is calling to me from Nordstrom… OR a plane ticket!
Love this post! We are headed to San Francisco at the end of this month, and I am so excited to go back! 🙂
San Francisco is one of my favorite cities to explore! I had such a wonderful time last year when we went out there for vacation. I can’t wait to go back!
