If you have been following along in my photo tips series, you may have already read my post about how to use your real camera for instagram photos. Today I’m sharing with you some of my favorite instagram apps for editing your photos. I am not a very app heavy user, so my list is quite short.
Instagram
I don’t like to use a lot of filters on my photos, and with the new update, there are many adjustments available in manual mode that give you more control over your final image. If I’m in a hurry, this is the only app that I use. Free, in-app upgrades.
PicTapGo
For almost two years now, I’ve used this app. My favorite filters are “bleached”, “loft”, and “high five”. I love how it allows you to adjust the strength of each and blend multiple. $1.99
Enlight
A heavy duty editing app, not for the faint of heart. There are a ton of features in this app, from special effects to light painting. It’s definitely not for a quick-type edit. $4.99
Priime
This app is very basic and easy to use. It’s lightweight and minimal in design, which I love. Free, in-app upgrades.
VSCOcam
I don’t use this often, but really enjoy that the filters are higher quality and more in line with what I’m used to for my regular photography editing. Free, in-app upgrades.
Latergramme
This app allows you to schedule your instagram posts ahead of time. It’s perfect for someone on the go who might not remember to post often enough, or for scheduling a giveaway ahead of time. Free, upgraded accounts available.
