Today marks a new milestone in my artistic journey

Today marks a new milestone in my artistic journey, I’m launching my second collection, Duality. 🖤🤍

Duality is not only a nod to the contrasts that shape our lives, but a reflection of my own personal journey with grief. I’ve created these pieces out of love during a quite tumultuous time in my life, seeing them as a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dark landscape.

The Duality collection captures the nuance between light and dark, a reflection of the contrasts that shape our lives. Each piece, from the soft curves to the shadowed edges, evokes a sense of harmony in the tension between opposing forces. It speaks to the way grief and happiness can coexist—sometimes so closely intertwined that we cannot distinguish them from each other.

The pieces play with textures—smooth, glossy surfaces that catch the light, set against a matte clay body that seems to absorb it. There’s an almost magical quality to how these pieces shift between luminous and subtle, inviting you to linger in the space where beauty and mystery coexist. In this tension, there is a quiet understanding: the light does not diminish the dark, and the dark only makes the light more profound.

It’s a celebration of life’s ever-present duality, where joy and sorrow are not opposites, but companions that deepen the richness of our experience. Together, they form a whole—imperfect, yes, but beautifully complete.

This collection is dedicated to all those who have known grief, a reminder that even in the dark you may still shine.

There are a million things I could say about my costume and the parallels it draws to life for the last year but I’m going to keep it short. I’ve been off in my own world, detached by grief and all that comes with it. Rosie is my little white rabbit and has helped keep my chin up for the last six months. 🐰
